Auckland’s Aotea Square is to transform for July’s Elemental Festival, a celebration of Matariki in Tāmaki Makaurau.
Joining the already-opened Aotea Square Ice Rink and Ice Slide will be the Box in the Square Bar and Cafe, serving up food and beverages including craft beers and mulled wine. A covered courtyard will allow attendees to enjoy live music.
The Auckland Live Digital Stage will continue to provide interactive activities for the young throughout the day, displaying stories and content from across the Auckland region in the evening.
Every night, a night market will take place in Aotea Square, immersing festival-goers with a delicious selection of cuisines from all over the world.
Also available for booking are cosy winter Snugs. These geodesic domes will be kitted out with comfy furniture, blankets, and heaters, and are the perfect spot for sharing an intimate winter meal.
Celebrations kick off from July 1st until the end of the month.
