Episode Nine:

Tonight, was the first ever commitment ceremony, whereby couples had to choose whether to STAY or LEAVE their partners, and the experiment. A couple can only leave if both parties choose so, but if even one of them decides to stay, they are in it for another week. Let’s see what each of them decided:

Cam and Jules, you never would have guessed it but they both said STAY. What a shocker.

Heidi and Mike, there was a bit of tension between these two regarding their honeymoon fight. But thanks to some advice from the experts, both parties suck up their differences and decide to STAY.

Lauren and Matt admitted to the group that they had sex while away on their honeymoon, resulting in a small, and weird, round of applause. The two seemed absolutely smitten and choose to STAY.

Elizabeth and Sam had at it once again on the couch, but despite both of them being utterly furious, it is only Sam who chose to LEAVE. Elizabeth wanted to STAY, and thus Sam is being held captive. Mike decided to put in his two cents by calling out Elizabeth for making him stay when she doesn’t even like him. His input was out of place but not totally unfounded.

Ning and Mark both decided to STAY, despite some rocky roads during their honeymoon. The two appeared to have grown closer, and Ning’s walls may even be beginning to crack.

Michael and Martha both decided to stay as they are going strong. The pair are so beautiful it hurts.

Despite their immense differences, Dino being incredible spiritual while Melissa is much louder and down to earth, both chose to STAY and continue working on their relationship.

Jessika and Mick. Now this one was shocking. Mick was very cross following Jess’s behaviour at the previous dinner party. He proceeded to shout various things such as: “Bloody rubbish!” “It’s embarrassing!” and “You were creating drama out of nothing!”. All of his points were fair, even if they weren’t expressed super well. However, they both chose to STAY, and Mick expressed that he was committed to moving forward from this one sour event.

This couple got deep. Cyrell and Nic discussed Cryrell’s issues with abandonment, and she confessed that it was these fears that often made her push away her husband. The pair both chose to STAY, and Nic shared that he was committed to proving to Cyrell that he was not going anywhere.

The final couple of the night were full of dramatics. Ines and Bronson let rip, as the pair confronted each other’s most significant flaws. Ines crossed so many lines as she insulted her husband, but it was when Bronson dropped the C-Bomb that everyone got up in arms. It seemed pretty unfair to me, treat people how you want to be treated, right? Ines chose to LEAVE as she was too disgusted to even look at her new husband, while Bronson decided to STAY and try and work things out. So, by laws of the experiment, they are both in it for another week.
