Elisa Goodkind and Lily Mandelbaum are the mother and daughter team behind the website StyleLikeU, and make the move into print with True Style is What’s Underneath: The Self-Acceptance Revolution.
True Style is What’s Underneath, described as ‘A StyleLikeU Manifesto,’ includes profiles of trend-setting and pioneering artists and creatives Melanie Gaydos, Ciprianna Quann and Tallulah Willis, all of whom have overcome societal pressures regarding age, race, health or celebrity in order to become inspirational figures. Each profile, accompanied by a wealth of photographs, creates a nwe look book of authenticity and empowerment.
