CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE: Worth The Wait!!

Before I even walked into Central Intelligence, I immediately saw Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart and rolled my eyes. I am not a Kevin Hart fan. Everything he does, he plays the same whinny weak character. The only time he is ever any good is his stand-up comedy, which this – again – was far from it. The film got a 5.7/10 on Rotten Tomatoes, but I was actually surprised how much I enjoyed it. I found myself sitting there with a huge grin from ear to ear watching this film. The script is average and the film heavily relies on Johnson and Hart’s undeniable chemistry, it was a very enjoyable film – no thanks to it’s filmmakers. Definitely worth the ticket for the rainy week ahead for Aucklander’s. Johnson described his role in this film as “stretching new muscles,” referring to him being in a more comedic role than action. However, the movie has Johnson doing a lot of action-y things just in a more comedic way. Hmmm.

BUT THE ENDING IS TOTALLY WORTH THE WHOLE MOVIE. Honestly. Worth. The. Wait.

Watch the trailer and go take your mom out.
