Much was made over Emily Ratajkowski’s new swimwear line Inamorata Swim when it launched recently. However, the brand is back in the headlines this week for less positive reasons. Longstanding swimwear designer Lisa Marie Fernandez has taken legal action against Ratajkowski for plagiarism under EU law relating to two swimsuits in the collection which were eerily similar to Fernandez’ designs. Fernandez has also posted extensively about the controversy on Instagram, calling for consumers to boycott Ratajkowski’s line.
