You’re The Voice singer John Farnham will join American rock band The Eagles on their Eagles World Tour for one show only.

Lucky concert-goers in Dunedin will get the chance to see the legendary Australian soft rock maestro perform songs from across his 50-year career, including from his hit album Whispering Jack.

The Eagles are best known for the timeless tune Hotel California, but have plenty of others to make you cry, dance, and everything in between.

The Eagles World Tour is the Eagles’ first visit to New Zealand since 2015, when they played two sold out shows. Demand for tickets was so high an extra stadium show was added. Don’t count on another chance to see the band, though – with John Farnham thrown in the mix Dunedin’s Forsyth Barr stadium could sell out even faster.

The Dunedin show will take place on the 2nd March 2019, and Auckland’s show will be on the 26th February (sans John Farnham).
