Lenny’s Book of Everything

Karen Foxlee’s new novel combines heartbreak and healing to captivate readers and lead them on a journey through the complexities of grief. Lenny and his brother Davey live in a small town and have very little to their name. Davey is impaired, and his illnesses only seem to be worsening with time, but the two find solace in the weekly delivery of their favourite magazine: Burrell’s Build-It-at-Home Encyclopedia. The two are hypnotized by the world of birds and beetles and for a small time can escape their worries. But soon Lenny will have to face the devastating truth and give himself permission to grieve for his dying brother.
