MAISE WILLIAMS’ NEXT ROLE REVEALED

Maisie Williams is to star in a new Sky comedy, currently titled “Two Weeks to Live.”

According to Sky, Williams will play a woman named Kim, who grew up in a rural environment and learnt bizarre survival techniques following the death of her father under suspicious circumstances.

The six-part series will tell Kim’s story as she enters the real world for the first time and begins a secret mission of honouring her father’s memory.

Kim meets Nicky and his pub-owner brother Dave. When a prank goes wrong, the three of them find their lives in danger, pursued by a murderous gangster and the police.

“But Kim is no ordinary fish out of water — she’s more like a great white shark who knows how to strip a Smith & Weston SDVE pistol in 6 seconds flat, skin a deer to make a sleeping bag, and perform all the routines from ‘Dirty Dancing.'” Sky’s description read. “With her in their team, they might all just survive.”

The new show is to be filmed later this year and will air in the UK and Ireland in 2020. It marks Williams’ first major acting role since the season finale of Game of Thrones earlier this year.
