MAKE WAY FOR THE BOSS

This September Grammy-nominated rapper and entrepreneur Rick Ross will be hitting NZ Shores to deliver his hit tracks from his incredible career.

Miami’s very own Rick Ross is undoubtedly one of the most influential figures to come out of the noughties. With the levying stature of a Goliath and the regal standing of a king, Rick Ross has lived up to his prophecy of being ‘The Boss’.

From his 2006 debut album ‘Port of Miami’, Rick released breakthrough single ‘Hustlin’. The track went from a relentless street anthem to a pop culture catchphrase still used today and earned Ross a record deal with Def Jam. Port of Miami debuted at number one on the Billboard charts as did his album Trilla which came less than two years later.

Currently, Rick Ross is cooking up his tenth studio album Port of Miami 2 which is set to drop this year. Not much is known about the release, only that the first taste with the two tracks ‘Florida Boy feat. T-Pain and Kodak Black’ and last week’s ‘Green Gucci Suit feat. Future’.
