For all our plant-based loving folk, rejoice! BurgerFuel has partnered with Life Health Foods (LFH) to create a plant-based ‘beef’ burger featuring the LFH’s Alternative Meat Co. patty.
Known as the Alternative Muscle, the burger patty is 100 percent plant-based and sustainably grown. The burger includes melted cheddar, tangy pickles, Dijon mustard, tomato relish, and BurgerFuel’s free-range Aioli presented on an artisan wholemeal bun.
The local burger chain calls this new venture a reinvention of an iconic classic. It’s said to mimic the taste of a cheeseburger and are created for those interested in maintaining a flexitarian diet or reducing their meat intake. It can also be made vegetarian or vegan on request for an added cost of $1.
The original Alternative Muscle retails for $16.90 and is available in-store and online for a limited time and while stock lasts from November 5th
