NETFLIX JUNE LINE UP

Netflix has released its new June line up. This month will see some crowd favourites returning to screens and some dramatic films featured for the first time. Netflix has the kids covered with an array of new and old classics that are sure to keep them entertained. Stand-up comics Hannah Gadsby and W. Kamau Bell will have the couch bursting with laughter and for those after something a little more serious doco’s Recovery Boys and The Staircase will surely satisfy your cravings.

Marvel superhero Luke Cage returns for season 2 of the hit tv show, two years after it originally aired. Season 2 will pick up from where the first season ended with Cage returning to Harlem, New York after clearing his name. However new enemies present themselves and Cage is forced to, once again blur the lines between good and evil.

The long-waited Sense 8 series finale will return June 8. The special two-hour series finale hits screens due to an outcry from fans after Netflix announced the show’s cancellation last year.

 

Dunkirk (2)

The critically acclaimed film Dunkirk makes its way to Netflix. Directed by Christopher Nolan, the film follows the soldiers and civilians involved in the evacuation of troops from the beach of Dunkirk during World War 2.

 

RECOVERY BOYS

Directed by Academy Award nominee Elaine McMillion Sheldon, Recovery Boys follows four men with opioid addictions as they navigate their way through the treacherous waters to sobriety.
