Starbucks is a global coffee powerhouse, found on virtually every corner in America. However surprisingly the coffee chain as yet to break into the Italian market, (probably because Starbucks isn’t that great, and Italians know that) until now with the launch of the first ever Italian Starbucks store.

Starbucks is going big with the first store popping up in Milan’s, Piazza Cordusio. Going truly Italian the coffee chain will be adapting its menu to coincide with the more sophisticated and reserved Italian palate. That means away with the crazy flavoured Frappuccino’s and hello to pizza and ice cream. The store will have an affogato bar which will serve up deliciously handcrafted ice creams while customers can sip on some cocktails and enjoy a slice of wood-fired pizza.

The new store is set to be the chains most glamours store yet with the well-known logo nowhere to be seen.
