A winery in Italy has been left with egg on its face and tens of thousands of litres of prosecco left to sink into the ground after accidentally overfilling a fermentation tank.
A six second video uploaded to the winery’s Facebook page captured the tragedy. Thirty thousand litres of prosecco – the equivalent of 40,000 bottles – was lost to the earth.
#RIP – Rest in Prosecco.
