Back for its eighth year, American Express Restaurant Month promises to intrigue and delight taste buds and foodie fans with an array of delectable culinary events and special menus. Auckland’s central city dining scene is set to ignite a serious case of food envy this August; the highly anticipated event celebrates extraordinary dining experiences and special month-long menus that appeal to all food lovers including those with an adventurous palate.
One-off menus at exclusive price points and 25 not-to-be-missed culinary events from over 100 restaurants located within the city centre will also take place as part of the event.
The goal of the event is to encourage Aucklanders and visitors to get ‘out and about’ in August, try new restaurants, and sample different dishes. Diners also have the exclusive opportunity to experience something different and unique at one of the many restaurant events on offer, including the chance to taste sensational dishes from a line-up of distinguished international chefs cooking alongside a selection of our best local talent with the return of the annual Chef Dining Series – creating true gastronomic memories.
