The thought of paper beer bottles seems almost impossible but Danish brewer, Carlsberg has been developing environmentally friendly paper beer bottles, made from sustainable wood fibres.
This exciting innovation will heavily reduce the use of plastic in Carlsberg’s packaging. Carlsberg’s paper beer bottles are completely bio-based and made from recyclable materials with an inner protector made of polymers to hold the beer. The company’s goal is to emit zero carbon emissions by 2030 and reduce its carbon footprint by 30 percent. Collaborating with successful brands like Coca-Cola, Absolut and L’Oreal, these paper beer bottles will make a world of difference in reducing waste.
