Brace yourselves because everyone’s favourite 90’s cartoon, Rugrats is getting a reboot. The award-winning cartoon will not only be hitting small screens but will also be hitting cinemas with a full-length feature film. Nickelodeon has announced that the show has been picked up for 26 new episodes as well as a live-action CGI movie.
“Rugrats is hands-down one of the most celebrated cartoons in TV history, and we are thrilled for a whole new audience to meet these iconic characters in brand-new adventures,” said Sarah Levy, the chief operating officer of Viacom Media Networks and interim president of Nickelodeon, in a statement.
Prepare to get nostalgic as you see Tommy, Chucky, Phil and Lil hitting your screens sometime in the near future.
