Don’t use a pot that’s too small
Use a pot that is the right size. If the pot is too small, the water temperature can significantly change when the pasta is added which can cause the pasta to become clumpy.
Stir the Pasta
Stirring the pasta while it is being boiled is crucial. If this step is skipped, it will result in clumpy mushy pasta.
Don’t put oil in the boiling water
Adding oil to pasta can result in not only slimy pasta but can also cause the sauce to slip off.
Sea Water
Use more than a pinch of salt when cooking your pasta. Top chefs say that the boiled water should be as salty as the sea.
Add pasta to sauce
Cooking the pasta should be the last step when making your meal. Make the sauce first and once drained add it immediately to the sauce for a perfect dish.
