New Additions To Neon

new additions to neon

From Mamma Mia! To Sherlock Holmes, Neon is set to add a diverse range of films and television shows to keep its subscribers entertained.

With a staggering 11 seasons and 35 films, Neon has offered a feast of entertainment this May. You could embark on a new journey every day of the month and still have a treasure trove of content to spare.

Of all the shows, we are most excited for The Tattooist of Auschwitz, a heartwrenching series based on the true-life saga of Lale Sokolov. Following the Jewish prisoner, Sokolov is entrusted with the harrowing duty of tattooing identification numbers onto fellow prisoners’ arms within the confines of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp during World War II.

If you want a little mystery, Pretty Little Liars: Summer School will return for a second season on 10 May. The show follows a group of teenage girls whom an unknown assailant torments, forcing them to pay for their parents secret sin.

If you can’t commit to a whole show, there are plenty of movies to go around. The Oscar-nominated film Past Lives will be added to Neon’s library on the first of May and will evoke strong feelings from viewers. Set across three decades, the film follows childhood friends from South Korea who lose touch after one emigrates to New York. A strong script and beautiful cinematography explore themes of missed opportunities and lost love.

If you have been living under a rock and haven’t seen Barbie, the 2023 blockbuster will be available to stream on Neon on 8 May. This is the opportunity of a lifetime for Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling lovers.

Honourable mentions are Catherine the Great, seasons one and two of Life, Angels in America, Five Nights at Freddy’s, Mamma Mia!, and Meg 2: The Trench.
