AMC+ | May Streaming Highlights

Streaming services have just announced their May movie specials, and we are all in for a treat. With over six new seasons and three films, we might not have enough time to get through all the drama.

AMC+ is releasing three very different series, the first of which is season 2 of Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire. In the year 2022, a vampire recounts his life story to a journalist. From the bloody events of 1940 to his adventures in Europe, this show is bound to have you on the edge of your set.

The exclusive new cooking show In the Kitchen with Harry Hamlin is set to premiere in mid-May. It will follow the renowned writer and actor’s passion for cooking and feature celebrity guests.

A short docu-series featuring Margot Robbie, Robert Downey Jr., and other celebrities will be released. It will highlight urgent issues within the entertainment industry and changes that must be made.

Acorn TV will be releasing the twenty-third season of Midsomer Murders, once again feeding the fan base.

Midsomer Murders

The new series The Truth will premiere in late May. It follows a young detective revisiting an old case to find the answer. The show will be featured on both AMC+ and Acorn TV, so there is no excuse not to tune in.

Shudder, the popular horror film streaming site, is ready to spook audiences with new movies that follow dark topics.

Skeletons in the Closet, a film about a malevolent spirit and a desperate mother who will do anything to save her terminally ill child, will be released in early May.

May’s movie madness will close with the last release of the month: Stopmotion. Stopmotion is a movie about an animator who struggles to control her demons after the loss of her mother.

We recommend these shows and movies for a date night, as they are bound to give you a fright and an excuse to cling onto your significant other’s arm.
