It’s time to get your royal résumés ready. Queen Elizabeth has announced she is looking for a full-time kitchen porter.
“You’ll join a committed Kitchen team who work together to prepare and serve food to the very highest standards,” the job description states. “You’ll also on occasion assist with food preparation.”
Although general knowledge of food safety and a positive attitude are essentially no relevant work experience is necessary. The successful candidate will have training provided and cash in a salary for the £19,935.80 per year job.
Along with serving some of the Queen’s most dignified visitors and calling the Buckingham Palace home, the chosen candidate will also receive free meals, 33 holidays per year and a 15% employer contribution pension scheme.
Unfortunately, applicants must already be a British citizen or have obtained the right to work on British grounds, but for those who are eligible and love the thought of food send in your applications quick as the vacancy clothes August 24th.
