Grammy and Emmy award-winning comedian Chris Rock is bringing his Ego Death World Tour to New Zealand in August. The New Zealand leg of Rock’s first world tour in five years will come to Auckland on August 7, and Christchurch on August 8, he will then head to Australia to do a further five shows.
“It’s fantastic to announce that Chris Rock is bringing his tour to New Zealand this August,” said promoter Paul Dainty.
“He’s in a class of his own, and nothing beats witnessing his genius unfolding in real time, in a live arena.”
For a taste of Rock’s humour, the comic’s most recent stand-up special Total Blackout: The Tamborine Extended Cut is currently streaming on Netflix.
