More than 40,000 visitors are expected at the Auckland Home Show next week.

While thousands of products for the home and garden are on display, for many, it’s the expert advice that makes the trip worthwhile. This advice is set to be top-notch, with multi-award-winning experts in all fields, from renovation to decoration, insulation, landscaping, kitchen and bathroom design, and more.

The lineup includes renovation superstar Russell Clark of Licensed Renovations, who has been helping homeowners navigate the Council regulation for more than four decades; Laura Heynike from Pocketspace Interiors, a specialist in small living spaces; and organisation expert Rebekah Holmes, who teaches Kiwi homeowners how to declutter their homes and their lives for a better way of living.

The list goes on, with home technology expert Peter Huang from Samsung discussing how AI will change the way we live; interior design guru Kellie Gammie of Rarebirds Design discussing what makes a perfect sanctuary; and multi-award-winning designer Surita Nel of Lifestyle Kitchens and Bathrooms detailing how to add practicality and luxury into the most important rooms of the home.

Heading outdoors, David Rhodes of innovative landscaping firm Parrot Landscapes has created an extensive themed garden at the show. The garden will include hundreds of trees and plants, pavers, decking, and a pool to complete the experience.

Ten experts will give seminars during the four days of the show, and another five will host workshops on essential topics valuable to homeowners.

Over a dozen will be distributed throughout the show, covering every product category, from wallboards to windows, home heating to roof cladding, and thousands of products.

Amanda Magnus, General Manager of Exhibitions and Events New Zealand, the show organiser, said the sheer scale of the show was a crucial reason for its success and why it has been the largest show of its kind in Australasia.

“The huge number of exhibitors means there’s an opportunity to compare different options, offers and prices on almost any product or service you need for your home. And even more importantly, you can talk to a human about its benefits, how it’s installed and the various regulations affecting it,” said Magnus.

“I always say, bring your plans, questions and dreams, and the many exhibitors at the show will help you find a way to make them a reality.”

The Auckland Home Show will take place from the 5th to the 8th of September at the Auckland Showgrounds.
