Feeling Nostalgic? The Muppet Show Is Streaming Only On Disney+

Most of us will have fond memories of growing up with The Muppet Show or seen the likes of Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy in more recent films. Well, no longer destined to simply be a memory of a bygone era, the iconic series by Jim Henson will be available to watch exclusively on Disney+ from the 19th of February.

Fans will also have access to season 4 and 5, which have never been released on home entertainment.

“It’s going to be great to welcome back longtime fans, and to give a new generation of fans a chance to see how we got our start, how Miss Piggy became a star and so much more,” said Kermit the Frog.

“Today, I’m proud to say: ‘It’s time to play the music, light the lights and meet the Muppets on Disney Plus tonight!’ And as for Statler and Waldorf, the two old guys in the balcony, I can only add: ‘Sorry, guys, but….here we go again.”

Originally premiering in 1976, The Muppet Show stars Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, and a Swedish Chef to name a few, giving us a substantial nostalgic hit with original songs, hilarious comedy sketches, and well-known guest stars.

With all five seasons of The Muppet Show, we are bound to have an incredible, Muppetational February for sure! Mahna Mahna!
