In celebration of the popular series’ 10th anniversary, the highly anticipated HAIKYU!! The Dumpster Battle will continue the battle between fan-favourite rivals Karasuno and Nekoma.
As of last month, the film earned over 8.5 billion yen, making it the highest-grossing movie of the Japanese box office calendar year.
Shoyo Hinata joins Karasuno High’s volleyball club to be like his idol, a former Karasuno player known as the “Little Giant.” However, Hinata soon discovered he had to team up with his middle school nemesis, Tobio Kageyama. Their clashing styles turn into a surprising weapon, but can they beat their rival Nekoma High?
Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment are set to bring the film to NZ cinemas on the 30th of May.
