Las Vegas rockers Imagine Dragons last stormed Australia and New Zealand two years ago with their chart-topping second album, Smoke + Mirrors. In 2017 the band dominated radio worldwide with hit singles ‘Thunder’, ‘Believer’ and ‘Whatever It Takes’. Finally Imagine Dragons will bring their Evolve World Tour to Australia and New Zealand this May for an amazing six-date run, including their first ever show in Wellington.
Released in June 2017, Evolve produced Billboard’s second longest #1 single run in the US chart’s history with ‘Believer’, also providing the band’s fourth Top 10 hit in the beat-heavy ‘Thunder’. In New Zealand, Evolve debuted at #3 on the NZ Top 40 Charts, and in Australia, came in at #4 on the ARIA Charts. The band collaborated closely with Swedish producers Mattman & Robin (who are known for the collaborations with the likes of Taylor Swift and Pink) and kiwi Joel Little.
With special guests, The Temper Trap and singer Dougy Mandagik, backed with a collection of fresh new songs, and a set sharpened from rigorous touring overseas, this upcoming tour is gearing up to an event you don’t want to miss.
