Inside The Life Premiere

Crime lovers are getting fed this May, with The Mob Museum set to launch its new original podcast called Inside The Life.

The podcast will feature interviews about mobs, motorcycle gangs and cartels and is hosted by former elite undercover agents Giovanni Rocco and Dutch MacAlpin.

Produced by the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, Inside the Life has promised to deliver gripping and educational tales about the mob, outlaw motorcycle gangs, drug cartels, the work of law enforcement and more from the people who lived the life.

Season one will feature hair-raising episodes featuring mobsters and undercover agents, their stories, and other topics spanning law enforcement and true crime. Additionally, Inside the Life will feature notable actors and showrunners from television and film, including The Sopranos, Narcos, and other acclaimed crime productions.

“We are eager to share Inside the Life as The Mob Museum’s newest venture,” said Ashley Miller, vice president of marketing, communications and sales at The Mob Museum.

“The organisation continuously looks for ways to engage audiences both onsite and online, and we are so excited to publish our first season of captivating episodes featuring a host of incredible interviewees with never-before-heard stories from both sides of the law and life.”

Often working in extremely dangerous, life-threatening scenarios, Dutch McAlpin left his over 20-year career in law enforcement with an endless number of stories. Working his way from a beat cop in the Midwest to an undercover task force agent for numerous federal agencies, McAlpin infiltrated outlaw motorcycle gangs, domestic terrorist organizations, weapons trafficking networks, Latin American cartels, international human trafficking rings and even the Mafia, sometimes operating with three different undercover identities at the same time. Dutch’s harrowing recounts give us a glimpse into the top clearance, confidential world of undercover work.

Elite deep cover agent Giovanni Rocco was responsible for taking down the American Mob organisation now recognized as “The Real Sopranos.” During his decades-long career as an undercover for the federal government, he successfully infiltrated outlaw motorcycle gangs, domestic and international terror organizations and white-collar criminals. His role in Operation Charlie Horse brought down several high-ranking members and associates of the infamous New Jersey DeCavalcante Mafia family, which ultimately led to his early retirement and the relocation of his family. Drawing from his service in law enforcement in various positions, Rocco now shares his expertise with law enforcement, military and intelligence units worldwide.

Season one guests include Chris Brancato, Frank Calabrese Jr., and Jay Dobyns.

The podcast will premiere mid May and will give viewers an insight into a world they have never seen before (hopefully…).
