POTTERMORE MORE MORE

Harry Potter fans are soon to be treated to four new eBooks expanding the Potter universe.

Each is themed around a subject studied by Hogwarts students in the novels, and offers readers the chance to “delve deeper into the rich history of magic.”

Two of the eBooks, published by the Harry Potter franchise, will be available on June 27th, describing the history of Charms & Defence Against the Dark Arts and Potions & Herbology. The other two, exploring Divination & Astronomy and Care of Magical Creatures, will follow shortly after.

The eBooks expand upon a previous publication, Harry Potter: A History of Magic. JK Rowling’s Pottermore website released a statement saying, “in addition to exploring the origins of magic through history and folklore, the eBook shorts will also feature notes, manuscript pages and charming sketches as previously seen in Harry Potter: A History of Magic.”

The eBooks are being described as ‘non-fiction.’
