RAINBOW’S END ANNOUNCES FRIGHTFUL HALLOWEEN PLANS

New Zealand’s largest theme park, Rainbow’s End, has announced its 2019 Halloween plans, with plenty of spooky activities for the whole family.

When the sun goes down the lights come on and the fun begins as Rainbow’s End is transformed into a whole new world. Spin through the night on the Invader, kick your feet into the starry sky on the Stratosfear or plunge into the darkness from the top of the Fearfall!

For those who seek a true horror experience, Manic Manor will be starting from October 12th right through to November 2nd. Not for the faint-hearted, Rainbow’s End advises thrill-seekers to bring a spare pair of undies along – in fact, the first 100 people to attend will receive a special pair of Rainbow’s end Fright Night underpants!

Halloween isn’t just for the horror lovers at Rainbow’s End, under 8’s will have lots to do in the Kidz Kingdom zone. Little ones can get their groove on to monster tunes at the Monster Mash Disco, enjoy Storytime with Witchy-poo, or visit Candy Cane Lane for trick-or-treating with spooky friends.

Daytime visitors can also check out the Manic Manor: The Witches Lair, the frights are dialled down daytimes for a good test of bravery for teens and preteens. A guide will creep you through the witches lair for a peek during the day while the witches are away.

“Halloween is always a very popular time of year for Rainbow’s End. We have people travel from across the country to experience our Night Rides and they love it,” said Rainbow’s End Business Development and Marketing Manager, Susan Mudie. “This year we anticipate 42,000 people to visit across our Halloween period with more than 40,000 tickets sold last year.”
