Ruby Seeto X Wallace Cotton New Tomato Designs

Ruby Seeto & Wallace Cotton Reach $800K Milestone for Starship - New Design Launches July 10

Every year since 2009, Ruby Seeto has created a limited-edition tea towel in collaboration with New Zealand lifestyle brand, Wallace Cotton.

Each one features a hand-drawn recipe, designed to support the Starship Foundation. What began as a personal project by a then 11-year-old cancer survivor has evolved into an eagerly anticipated annual release, raising over NZD 800,000 for the Starship Foundation to date.

Ruby is dedicated to supporting the institution that supported her and her family when she was a child undergoing treatment. The list of tea towel designs is long, and so too is the list of lives touched.

“Starship holds a special place in my heart, and always will. I am deeply honoured and privileged to continue to support their incredible work through my collaboration with Wallace Cotton. I’m deeply thankful to everyone who has purchased and continues to support this important cause.”

This year, the beloved collaboration returns with a charming new design, ‘Starship Fresh Tomato Salad’, which features a vibrant design that will brighten any kitchen. Damian Dobb, CEO of Wallace Cotton, reflected on the enduring partnership with Ruby Seeto.

“This collaboration has grown into something truly special. Looking back over all that we have accomplished together is a source of great pride and gratitude for the whole team at Wallace Cotton,” said Dobb.

“We are inspired every day by the commitment of Ruby, the incredible community that continues to rally behind this cause, and the amazing work the Starship Foundation does. We couldn’t be prouder to be part of the legacy Ruby has created, one tea towel at a time.”

Proceeds from Ruby’s latest design will help fund a multi-million-dollar transformational Oncology Project focusing on childhood cancer treatment in New Zealand.

Ruby’s Starship Fresh Tomato Salad range will be available to purchase in all Wallace Cotton stores and online on Wednesday, the 10th of July, with proceeds being donated directly to the Starship Foundation.
