The wildly-successful re-make of A Star Is Born has released the first single from its soundtrack. “Shallow” is a powerful country rock ballad, sung here as a duet by Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga (in character as Jack and Ally).
In A Star Is Born, Cooper and Gaga (real name Stefani Germanotta) portray two musicians sharing the stage and their lives. It’s a remake of the legendary 1976 film starring Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson.
The film, directed by Cooper, is released in New Zealand Cinema on October 18th.
