The Bear Renewed For Third Season

The critically acclaimed, award-winning series “The Bear” has been renewed for a third season.

The first two seasons are available to stream now on Disney+.

The series shines a light on the dark realities of the hospitality industry as it follows successful chef Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White) as he returns to his hometown of Chicago to manage the chaotic sandwich shop left behind by his deceased brother.

Season one is currently nominated for 13 Emmy Awards, was honoured as an AFI TV Program of the Year, and has racked up numerous other awards.

Season two saw Carmy transform the grimy sandwich joint into an upscale restaurant with the help of his sous-chef Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri) and Richard “Richie” Jermovich (Ebon Moss-Bachrach). As the team stripped the restaurant down to its bones and built it back up, they underwent transformational journeys of their own.

It turned out that the only thing harder than running a restaurant was opening a new one. The team had to juggle the bureaucracy of permits and contractors while painstakingly crafting a creative new menu.

FX’s The Bear was created by Christopher Storer, who acts as executive producer alongside Joanna Calo, Hiro Murai of Super Frog, Josh Senior, and Matty Matheson, with Tyson Bidner serving as producer. The series is produced by FX Productions.
