The new trailer for The Watchers has dropped, and let’s just say we will be sleeping with the lights on tonight.
The Watchers, set to release in June this year, follows Mina, played by beloved actress Dakota Fanning. She finds herself in a room with a glass wall and an electric light that activates at nightfall when the Watchers come above ground. These creatures emerge to observe their captive humans, and terrible things happen to anyone who doesn’t reach the bunker in time.
Other cast members are Georgina Campbell, Siobhan Hewlett, Hannah Howland and Charles Camrose.
The film marks the directorial debut of female director Ishana Night Shyamalan at just 23 years old.
