TLC have just announced their brand new single, “Haters”, in a shout out to social media cyberbullies.
It’s the first song they’ve released since 2014, when they collaborated with J. Cole on the hit single, “Crooked Smile”.
Formed in 1991, they’re best known for iconic songs such as “No Scrubs” and “Unpretty”.
However, much to the heartbreak of loyal R&B fans, TLC have also announced that this album will be their last.
“This album, our final album, is dedicated to all of you that have stuck with us, challenging us to do our best.” The group said in a statement.
“We just want to put out great music that touches everyone. That’s it.”
It’s no small legacy that they’ll leave behind, having sold 65 million albums worldwide.
In the meantime, TLC will be touring Australia and New Zealand in just a few weeks, with headline performances scheduled for Wellington, Tauranga, and Auckland.
They’ll be accompanied by local band Kings, as well as R&B quartet 112 and “This Is How We Do It” singer Montell Jordan exclusively in their Auckland show.
Tickets are on sale now via Ticketek and Ticketmaster.
