Here’s everything coming to Disney+ in August 2023. With an exciting lineup, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
August begins with the Disney+ premiere of Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 on the 2nd of August. This could be the end of the Guardians as we know them.
The highly anticipated third season of Only Murders in the Building, starring Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez, returns on the 8th of August. This season also sees two iconic guest stars, Paul Rudd and Meryl Streep.
Premiering the very next day is Disney+ Original Series, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series: Season 4.
Ahsoka is another Disney+ Original Series that will premiere towards the end of the month on the 23rd of August. The series follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
On the same day, FX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia will return for a record-extending sweet 16 season, with the gang navigating 2023 with 16 years of baggage.
The month ends with another limited FX series, A Murder at the End of the World, premiering on the 29th of August. With a Gen Z detective at the helm, this mystery series follows amateur tech-savvy sleuth Darby Hart, who a reclusive billionaire invites to a retreat where one of the other guests is found dead.
