The Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am has accused a Qantas flight attendant of racism during his journey from Brisbane to Sydney over the weekend.
The hip hop icon was travelling to his Sydney Friday Jams concert when the flight attendant abused him for not putting his laptop away fast enough.
will.i.am explained that the flight attendant was shockingly aggressive.
“She sent the police after me because I couldn’t hear the PA while making beats on the plane wearing noise-cancelling headphones [sic],” he wrote on Twitter.
“I don’t want to believe she is racist. But she has clearly aimed all her frustrations only at the people of colour.”
The musician said police officers let him go after other passengers testified on his behalf.
