ACOTAR fans, clear your calendar! Two new trips to Prythian are officially on the way.
Sarah J. Maas has revealed the titles and release dates for the sixth and seventh books in her phenomenally popular A Court of Thorns and Roses series, and the countdown has well and truly begun.
First up is A Court of Splintered Harmony, arriving on the 27th of October 2026, with the suitably mysterious teaser “What was broken will be remade.”
Fans won’t have too long to recover. A Court of Forgotten Melody will follow on the 12th of January 2027, promising “What was lost will be reclaimed.”
The announcement has marked the next chapter in one of modern fantasy’s biggest series. Naturally, those two lines alone give ACOTAR fans plenty to theorise about.
Sarah J. Maas is the #1 New York Times and international bestselling author behind the Throne of Glass, A Court of Thorns and Roses and Crescent City series. Her books have sold more than 70 million English-language copies worldwide, been published in 38 languages and inspired a huge online fandom, particularly on TikTok.
