Bananya and friends will return with an all-new season in October 2024.
Crunchyroll announced the acquisition of Bananya Around the World, the third season of the adorable series featuring kitties that live in bananas.
Bananya is a carefree kitty who lives in a banana and dreams of becoming a delicious chocolate-covered dessert. But he’s not the only one in the bunch.
He lives with other banana friends who come out to play when humans aren’t around, with silly antics and fun adventures.
He has returned for a new adventure when a ball of light appears. After the ball flashes, a new cat named Baby Sweet emerges. The two quickly became friends and embarked on a grand adventure to discover new and exciting places worldwide.
This is the third season of the adorable series featuring kitties that live in bananas. It will be available to stream on Crunchyroll in October and worldwide, except in Asia, including the Indian subcontinent.
The Japanese voice cast for the characters includes Yuki Kaji as Bananya and Ayumu Murase as Baby Sweet.
Kyo Yatate will return to direct the series at animation studio Lesprit, with series composition by Masahiro Takata and Sei Yoshitsuki joining on the scripts.
The first few episodes will be aired on Crunchyroll in October, with more to come later.
