In celebration of Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5 hitting cinemas, Belkin has launched a special-edition iPad case inspired by Lilypad.
In the film, Lilypad is the newest character to join the familiar group of toys from the series. A frog-shaped smart tablet, Lilypad marks tech’s introduction to ‘Toy Story’, bringing new ideas about what is best for playtime and facing resistance to change from the old toys.
The Lilypad case comes with kid-proof protection features, and includes a built-in carry handle, a kickstand, soft, grippy edges, and safe, easy-to-clean materials, making it ready-made for family use.
It also includes exclusive digital wallpapers designed to make the case feel even more like the character, which can be downloaded via the QR code included with the package.
The case comes to New Zealand, highly anticipated after selling out in Walmart stores in the United States in under two weeks.
Steve Malony, CEO of Belkin, said the Lilypad represents a modern take on how kids interact with technology.
“With this collaboration, we wanted to create an accessory that captures the character’s personality while still delivering the quality, durability, protection, and thoughtful design families expect from Belkin.”
The case is now available online and in JB Hi-Fi stores for NZD 99.99.
