Full to the brim with big energy, big trucks, and big engines; Big Boy Toys promises to be a great day out for the family. The popular show will be returning to the ASB Showgrounds on Friday 10th November. With all the supercars, diggers, motorbikes, jetskis and gadgets that you’ve come to expect and more this show promises to be the best one yet.
This year Big Boys Toys will be debuting, ‘The world of music’, a new area filled with incredible instruments, interactive displays, old school vinyl, musicians and much more. A special feature will be the Mega Speaker from Back to the Future, a stunning, perfect replica of the Back to the Future movie prop that became legend.
Also new for 2018 is a huge ‘Construction Zone’ showcasing the big machinery from the construction industry in an interactive format, with competitions, demonstrations and the opportunity for young and old to get behind the controls of some of the diggers.
‘Leading the Charge’ will offer patrons Electric Vehicle Drives and Trials throughout the Show. The Milwaukee Action Arena will offer an action filled display of FMX bikers jumping high into the air, showcasing some of New Zealand’s top athletes.
The LaFerrari Aperta will be taking centre stage. This incredible Ferrari is one of only 200 ever made and will be making its first New Zealand appearance at Big Boy Toys.
Big Boys Toys loves Kiwi inventors and this year we have one of the greatest – the innovative Manta 5 Hydrofoil Bike – an electric, pedal-assisted that actually allows you to bike on water will also be making an appearance.
