Actress Maitland Ward, who starred in the ’90s teen sitcom Boy Meets World, has opened up about her shift from acting to the porn industry.
Ward, 42, who is primarily known for starring as Rachel McGuire from 1998 to 2000 on the show, played Jessica Forrester on The Bold and Beautiful and also appeared in films and tv shows such as Home Improvement and White Chicks.
The actress has posted lascivious photos to social media since 2013 yet has only recently joined the porn industry.
Ward said she now “felt ready” to move into the industry, debuting her new career with feature-length, adult movie Drive.
“I don’t think my fans have seen me like this before — really, they haven’t. It’s just very deep sensuality, and I think that is a really fun way to play an explorer, and I got to do things that I wouldn’t have thought in the past. Just these sexual situations that are sort of taboo,” said Ward.
The redhead beauty signed to adult boutique talent agency Society 15 earlier this year and insisted she “doesn’t give a f***” about discussing her new role.
“I want to be who I am, and I just think as I have matured too, I am who I am,” she said.
