UK star Calum Scott is set to play his first ever New Zealand show later this month. Adding to the hype, Frontier Touring has announced Alae will join Scott on stage for his Auckland debut. Alae are releasing their first album Henry Street in a few weeks, just after the concert. All Gived Up, Too Strung Up and Stone Cold are tracks that feature in the up-and-coming group Alae – breaking a range of NZ streaming records for local independent artists.
When Scott performed a rendition of Dancing On My Own for his audition on Britain’s Got Talent in 2015 he instantly shot to international stardom and this lead to the release of his debut album, Only Human. Scott’s rendition achieved Platinum status in New Zealand and saw the new star receive a nomination for the Brit Award for British Single Of The Year.
