The Narrow Road To The Deep North

Prime Video, Curio Pictures, and Sony Pictures Television have released images from the latest Australian Original drama series, The Narrow Road to the Deep North.

The drama series, which has wrapped production in New South Wales, Australia, is based on Richard Flanagan’s Booker Prize-winning novel. The five-part series, adapted by writer Shaun Grant and directed by Justin Kurzel, will launch on Prime Video in Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

The series tells the story of Lieutenant Dorrigo Evans (played by Jacob Elordi) and his love affair with Amy Mulvaney (played by Odessa Young). It is set during World War II and spans multiple time periods.

The series also features new castings, including Essie Davis (as Lynette), William Lodder (as Rabbit), Eduard Geyl (as Jimmy), Christian Byers (as Rainbow), Sam Parsonson (as Rooster), Reagan Mannix (as Bonox Baker), Fabian McCallum (as Sheephead), Caelan McCarthy (as Chum), David Howell (as Tiny), Taki Abe (as Colonel Kota), Masa Yamaguchi (as Lieutenant Fukuhara), and Akira Fujii (as Kenji Mogami).
