Netflix has unveiled the first photos from People We Meet on Vacation.
This upcoming adaptation of Emily Henry’s bestselling novel stars Tom Blyth as Alex and Emily Bader as Poppy.
The story follows Poppy and Alex, best friends who spend a decade taking annual summer trips together despite living in different cities. Over the years, their bond evolves as they grapple with the possibility that their friendship might actually be something more.
Directed by Brett Haley (Hearts Beat Loud, All the Bright Places), the film brings the pair’s globe-trotting adventures to life with locations ranging from New Orleans to Barcelona.
Alongside Blyth and Bader, the cast features Sarah Catherine Hook, Jameela Jamil, Lucien Laviscount, Lukas Gage, Miles Heizer, Alice Lee, Alan Ruck, Molly Shannon, and more.
Since its release in 2021, Henry’s novel has sold more than two million copies in the US, making it her highest-selling title. The film adaptation, produced with Sony Pictures, promises to capture the same charm, humour, and heartfelt connection that made the book a fan favourite.
Audiences can expect a sun-soaked journey filled with laughs, friendship, and romance when People We Meet on Vacation premieres early next year.
