IKEA New Zealand has launched two weekly promotions aimed at families managing tighter household budgets.
The new Feed the Family and Family Friday offers are available exclusively to IKEA Family members.
Feed the Family will run every Thursday from 11 am and offer a family meal for NZD 37. IKEA said this represented a saving of more than 37 percent compared with the NZD 59 non-member price.
The offer covers meals and beverages for a family of four and will be available in-store from 3 September until 29 October.
IKEA has also brought back its Friday food promotion under the Family Friday banner, with simplified pricing across a range of its Swedish food offer.
Breakfast options start from NZD6 for IKEA Family members, while selected main meals are priced at NZD6 compared with a NZD14 non-member price. A four-pack of cinnamon buns is also available for NZD6, compared with NZD10 for non-members.
Family Friday will run every Friday, with breakfast available from store opening and other offers available during the day.
Tim Prevade, Country Food Manager, IKEA Australia and New Zealand, said food has remained an important part of the wider customer experience, and he was excited to bring these deals back so more families can enjoy great food at genuinely affordable prices, at a time when the cost of living can mean a meal out together is more challenging.
The company said Family Friday builds on the response to its previous Happy Days promotion, with the new weekly offers forming part of its ongoing focus on affordability for New Zealand customers.
