Game of Thrones star ‘guilt-tripped’ into nudes scenes

G.O.T actress Emilia Clarke has recently revealed she was often guilt-tripped into her nude scenes.

During her time on the renowned television series, Clarke’s character Daenerys left little to the imagination. Since the show has ended, Clarke has opened up about the pressure she felt from directors while filming certain scenes.

Clarke often had arguments with directors on set, refusing to do what they had asked of her.

“I’m a lot more savvy (now) with what I’m comfortable with, and what I am okay with doing,” she said.

“I’ve had fights onset before where I’ve said, ‘No, the sheet stays up’, and they’ve said, ‘You don’t wanna disappoint your Game of Thrones fans’. So I’d reply, ‘F*** you.'”

The 23-year-old initially dealt with her reservations in private, as she worried they would reflect poorly on her professional career.

“Regardless of there being nudity or not, I would have spent that first season thinking I’m not worthy of requiring anything, I’m not worthy of needing anything at all … Whatever I’m feeling is wrong, I’m gonna cry in the bathroom and then I’m gonna come back and we’re gonna do the scene and it’s gonna be completely fine,” she concluded.

Clarke has praised co-star Jason Momoa for being supportive of the actress in their joint scenes where she felt uncomfortable.
