Ford unveils first vegan Mustang

It seems that the possibilities of plant-based living know no bounds as proven by Ford’s first vegan car.

Ford unveiled the 2021 Mustang Mach E SUV last Sunday. The electric car promises 300 miles in range, an estimated 459 horsepower, and is set to achieve sixty miles per hour in three seconds. It will be available in a variety of interior designs which will ofcourse use cruelty-free materials.

“We wanted it to be an animal-free product,” said Brittany Moss, colour and materials designer at Ford. She further explained that the launch of the new car aligns with the sort of customers the brand is trying to attract.

The vegan Mustang will be available for purchase online and at certified Ford dealerships in late 2020.
