Gaming fans, clear the calendar. Logitech G PLAY is back for 2026, and this year it is going seriously global.
Taking place across Los Angeles, Warsaw and Shanghai, Logitech G PLAY 2026 will bring together gamers, creators, esports athletes and some very shiny new gaming tech, with the whole thing broadcast live for those of us watching from the other side of the world.
The main event lands on September 24, with Logitech G promising next-generation hardware reveals, hands-on gaming experiences, competitive play, creator appearances and a look behind the scenes at what is coming next from the brand. And yes, there will be new gear!
One of the biggest drawcards will be the first look at Logitech G’s next generation of gaming hardware before it reaches the market. The event will also explore how professional athlete feedback and engineering shape everything from pro-grade peripherals to SIM racing technology.
This year’s theme, Play for the Breakthrough, is about more than faster hardware or better performance. Logitech G is using G PLAY to celebrate the little breakthroughs that make gaming so addictive too, whether that is finally beating the boss you’ve been stuck on, pulling off an impossible win or simply finding a game and community you love.
“With a global community of more than four billion, gaming has emerged as a primary force for entertainment, creativity and human connection,” said Robin Piispanen, Vice President and General Manager of Logitech G. “Breakthroughs take many forms, from securing a championship to personal self-expression. At Logitech G, we innovate to empower those moments, and Logitech G PLAY is where our community witnesses the future of play firsthand.”
The scale has grown considerably for 2026. Alongside the three flagship events, another 12 satellite events will take place around the world, turning G PLAY from a traditional product livestream into something closer to a global gaming festival. Expect esports, creator Q&As, expert panels, live music and plenty of opportunities to see new technology in action.
For New Zealand gamers, there is no need to score a ticket to Los Angeles. Logitech G PLAY 2026 will be broadcast globally, giving viewers front-row access to the reveals and action as it happens.
The live broadcast is scheduled to begin at 4am NZT on September 24 via the Logitech G YouTube channel.
It might require a painfully early alarm, but for anyone who likes being among the first to see what is coming next in gaming, G PLAY could be worth the wake-up call.
