A new adventure awaits in Lumiose City!
With new, dynamic real-time battles and the return of Mega Evolution to shift the odds of victory, trainers can explore the vast city with their Pokémon and climb the ranks from Z to A.
An urban redevelopment plan is underway in Lumiose City, aiming to turn it into a place where Pokémon and people can share.
Shortly after arriving, players can choose from one of these partner Pokémon to accompany them on their journey: Chikorita, Tepig or Totodile.
Together, they can explore the streets of this vast city or visit Wild Zones, habitats where you’ll encounter wild Pokémon. To catch them, aim carefully and throw a Poké Ball or take them on with the help of the Pokémon on the team.
By taking advantage of the power of Nintendo Switch 2, players can also enjoy their adventure in Lumiose City with enhanced resolution and frame rates.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A and Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will launch on 16th October, 2025.
Players can also purchase a limited-run Nintendo Switch 2 + Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Bundle, which includes a Nintendo Switch 2 console and a digital code for the download of the full game, when it releases on the same day.
