Ellerslie Racecourse is gearing up to host the much-awaited Barfoot & Thompson Auckland Cup Week, where music, fashion, and fun create a unique atmosphere.
After the TAB Karaka Millions event was sold out, the focus is now on the upcoming back-to-back race days.
The Grand Tour Racing Festival, which features the top 20 thoroughbred racing events in New Zealand, will feature Zed and The Black Seeds, set to entertain the 11,000 attendees expected throughout the week.
Zed will perform on Trackside Derby Day, while The Black Seeds and DJ Arii Jade will rock the stage on Barfoot & Thompson Auckland Cup Day, turning the day’s sports spectacle into a massive party.
The event promises a one-of-a-kind atmosphere, with top-quality horse racing on the field and a fantastic blend of hospitality and entertainment.
The two spectacular race days have millions of dollars in prizes to be won, and The Ned Prix de Fashion will also offer a $20,000 prize package.
