Krispy Kreme Give Away Free Doughnuts

This is not a drill, Krispy Kreme will give away 3,000 free doughnuts to celebrate the grand opening of the new Newmarket Store.

The home of the original glazed doughnut has shifted from its kiosk to a new location within the Westfield Newmarket shopping centre in Auckland.

Krispy Kreme head of marketing, Aimee Cutaja said that the company believes the new store is a good addition to the fashion and entertainment precinct, and that they are pleased to have a bigger presence in Newmarket.

“Our much loved Original Glazed Doughnuts are made fresh and ready now to sweeten the day for locals and shoppers, alongside our full-service menu, including daily fresh doughnuts, bagels and barista-made coffee. Please do drop by and celebrate with us and your close family and friends.”

Having first opened in the American state of North Carolina in 1937, Krispy Kreme has transitioned from a small local company to a major global enterprise. Arriving in New Zealand in 2018, Krispy Kreme now has five stores across Auckland, as well as outlets at various BP stations.

The free doughnut offer is available on Thursday, March 9th from 7 am to 9 pm, and only while stocks last.
